Interdisciplinary Children Ultrasound Center
You will find the Children's Ultrasound Center on the premises of the Pediatric Radiology Department. It is staffed by physicians from the departments of pediatric radiology and pediatrics who are specialized in performing ultrasound examinations. The Ultrasound Center is open to ambulant and stationary patients.

At the Children's Ultrasound Center of the Charité, your child will be examined by experienced physicians from the departments of pediatric radiology and pediatrics who are specialized in performing ultrasound examinations. In addition, we continuously train medical colleagues from the Charité in the performance of sonography in children and adolescents.
In addition to inpatients, the Ultrasound Center is also open to ambulant patients. Physicians in private practice can refer your child for ultrasound diagnostics. The results of the examination are discussed with the parents after the ultrasound and the written findings are sent by mail to the pediatrician's or family doctor's office. Outpatients with statutory health insurance require a referral slip.
